Our Impact

The CCGF Boston Marathon Team is a group of individuals who participate in the Boston Marathon to raise funds for all the work we do year round. Established in memory of Corey, a philanthropist and advocate for numerous charitable causes, the team embodies his spirit of giving and determination. Each member of the team commits to raising at least $10,000 for various charitable organizations, reflecting the values and legacy of Corey and the entire Foundation. In 2024, the 17-member team’s efforts exemplified the power of community and collective action in making a positive impact through athletic pursuits.

In an inspiring display of determination and generosity, all 17 runners of the Corey C. Griffin Boston Marathon Team surpassed the fundraising goal of $200,000. Through their relentless fundraising efforts, community outreach, and dedication to the causes they support, the team members rallied support from friends, families, and communities to exceed their initial target. This remarkable achievement not only reflects the team’s commitment to making a difference but also underscores the generosity and support of those who contributed to their fundraising endeavors. The success of the team in surpassing their fundraising goal serves as a testament to the impact of individuals coming together with a shared purpose to effect positive change in Boston and the entire New England region.
