The Corey C. Griffin Foundation is collaborating with the Boston Police Department’s Bureau of Community Engagement and others to provide groceries and essential supplies to Boston families in need. The recipients are vetted and identified by the BPD and in most cases the children qualified for school breakfast and lunch programs that are no longer supported. Many are existing “Corey’s Kids” families, connected to the schools and programs the Foundation supports.
We are working with programs that are delivering meaningful and academic summer activities at the same time that we are delivering grocery gift cards to the parents of these children. We have an mask campaign so that children will have the required masks to be outside their homes and to go to school.
With our Board of Directors covering all administration costs, 100% of your donation goes to families in need, providing nutrition to hundreds of households and meeting the needs of a growing list of families. Your support will immediately be put to use. Larger donation or questions? Call the Foundation at (617)855-8789.
The Boston Police Activities League (PAL) is facilitating immediate distribution. We are all in this together and together we are resolved to make a difference in our community- very quickly.
The Boston Police Department are our boots-on-the-ground, delivering timely relief to many families. Many Corey’s Kids depend on meals provided by their schools. The void of school meals is a hardship and this campaign offers immediate help.
