Launched in 2022, the Corey C. Griffin Foundation’s Emerging Leaders Council (ELC) is a program for young, Boston-area professionals who are committed to shaping the future of philanthropy. Members dedicate two years to impactful service, including mentoring young people, volunteering with our program partners, and driving leadership initiatives.
ELC members also support the Foundation by attending fundraisers and participating in special events like the annual Backpack Giveaway. Through leadership workshops and engagement with community leaders, they develop the skills to create lasting change and build a lifelong commitment to improving the lives of Boston-area children.
Create depth and breadth of involvement for passionate volunteers that extends the capacity of the Foundation to deliver on its initiatives.
Develop a new generation of philanthropists, fundraisers, and community leaders deeply committed to the impact of the Foundation’s grantmaking.
Build the Foundation’s long-term sustainability by “broadening the circle” and developing skills in governance, fundraising, and program/grantee relations.
We are thrilled to announce that M&T Bank has awarded the Corey C. Griffin Foundation a $10,000 grant to support our Emerging Leaders Council. This generous contribution will help us empower Boston’s young professionals to lead, serve, and make a lasting impact on our community.
