The annual Field Day events bring together hundreds of kids from the St. John Paul II Catholic Academies, Trinity Catholic Academy (TCA) and Lawrence Catholic Academy (LCA). An end-of-school-year tradition, the events bring students, staff, and families together for a day filled with games, activities, and a sense of community.
The Corey C. Griffin Foundation proudly sponsors the cherished events, providing everything from bouncy houses and bubble-making stations to t-shirts, hats, and pizza for lunch. Special thanks to Sal’s Pizza and the Lupoli Family for their sponsorship of the LCA Field Day.
Volunteers, Foundation staff, the Griffin family, and local high school seniors, make the days even more special. Their support reflects the Foundation’s deep-rooted commitment to be a Force of Love for Corey’s Kids.
Field Day continues to expand to reach even more kids beyond the original event with SJP II (Lower Mills). They represent days of connection built on shared values of faith, care, and a dedication to student success. As SJP II (Lower Mills) Principal Lisa Warshafsky notes, “It’s not just financial support; it’s about fostering lasting impact through relationships and shared purpose. It’s more than a celebration; it’s a testament to the power of partnerships in shaping a brighter future for our youth.
The Field Day exemplifies the Foundation’s mission to create opportunities for Boston-area children to thrive by combining mentorship, community engagement, and holistic support. It’s more than a celebration; it’s a testament to the power of partnerships in shaping a brighter future for our youth.
