To be a Force of Love for kids by supporting high-impact educational, healthcare and mentorship programs so that every child has the chance to thrive.
Usage: These descriptions are added to the positioning messaging when we want to explain our work in more detail.
This is our big idea. It represents our overarching message that summarizes our mission and WHY we exist. All other messages sit under the big idea.
Usage: Should be prominent in communications. Could be a headline and/or the kicking off point and/or be used as a sign-off or in closing of longer form communications like an email or letter.
Notes: “Be” is the more actionable version for a headline or signage or for a more succinct, harder-hitting message.
“We are building” is more passive and more likely to be used in a copy block or less prominent placements.
Through our own initiatives and 11 key community partner organizations, we support high-impact educational, healthcare and mentorship programs for youth from under-resourced communities in Massachusetts, serving over 10,000 kids annually.
This is how we are unique and relevant. It explains WHAT we do. When combined with the big idea, you get an elevator pitch.
Usage: This is our one line description that quickly explains how we are a Force of Love by describing the three key service areas (education, healthcare and mentorship), where we serve and how many we serve.

We believe every child deserves the chance to thrive. Together, we are working toward a future in which children of all backgrounds can see a wider world, imagine their place in it, and then achieve their goals. Our measure of success is in turning today’s children into Boston’s business, cultural, and civic leaders of tomorrow.
These are unique to CCGF. They further bring to life what we do, why we do it and how we do it.

We create lasting change through what we call experiential philanthropy. Our giving is never passive, instead it requires active participation with the kids and their support system. 100% of the proceeds go directly to places of need, through our initiatives and our 11 program partners.
If you take care of kids, they’ll then take care of the next generation of kids. This is what our namesake believed deeply and that is why we refer to our most precious commodity as “Corey’s Kids”. We are working toward real-time solutions but ultimately committed to a future in which all children can see a wider world, imagine their place in it, and achieve their goals. If we come together to invest, advocate, and believe, the result will be real and lasting change.

Each year, we partner with St. John Paul II Catholic Academy’s Lower Mills campus to bring joy and connection to over 275 students through its annual Field Day. This cherished event features games, food, and community celebration, reflecting the Foundation’s deep commitment to “Corey’s Kids.”
The Corey C. Griffin Foundation is partnering with Boston Children’s Hospital to create the Corey Griffin House, a future sanctuary for 45+ families whose children are undergoing long-term treatment. Scheduled for completion by 2028, this facility will offer a supportive, home-like environment that provides families relief from the emotional and financial stresses that come with caring for a seriously ill child.
We have granted over $25M to organizations that unlock opportunities for under-served children in their pursuit of their goals. Now, our Corey’s Scholars program will deepen our commitment
as we work to empower first-generation and underserved students to succeed in high school, college, and beyond. Many are the first in their families to pursue higher education. We provide more than financial aid—offering mentorship, career development, and essential support for housing, food, and childcare. In addition to gap funding for students, we also are offering financial support to underpaid teachers.
