April 20th, 2026 was a 26.2 mile celebration for so many people and that included the Corey C. Griffin Foundation and its phenomenal team of runners!
Our CCGF Team brought unrivaled energy and passion to the 130th running of the Boston Marathon. And that includes all the family, friends, and supporters who joined us at the Cheer Tent in Wellesley. The excitement was palpable all day! But the true heroes were the CCGF Team of 27 runners who collectively raised more than $400,000 to benefit Corey’s Kids! A special thanks to Karen and Rob Hale for their $100K donation to the team.
The team included some of our Emerging Leaders Council members like Kristyn Moran, Nick Day, Conor Stuhrcke, Nicole Stanton and Annie Yardley. It also featured siblings Kiley and Brady Erickson, a program partner (RBTV) volunteer Allie O’Daniel, and teacher Siobhan Salani, who is a 1st Grade teacher at one of our partner schools, Saint John Paul II Lower Mills.

Kristyn Moran summed up an emotional and rewarding experience, “This was an incredibly rewarding experience. It was months of work and commitment, but I was motivated by the impact our team would make with Corey’s Kids. As an ELC member, I have seen first-hand how much this foundation is changing lives for thousands of kids. I just feel so proud to have been a small part of it!”
100% of the funds will support the Foundation’s mission—to be a Force of Love for Kids through high-impact educational, healthcare and mentorship programs for youth across Massachusetts, serving over 10,000 kids annually. Marathon Monday was just the culmination of what was almost a full year of dedication, training and perseverance.
We cannot thank the team enough for representing our foundation so admirably and for inspiring so many along the way!

Foundation President, Chandra Clark, was so touched by the team’s efforts, “Our runners are just incredible. It is an amazing feat to run more than 26 miles at the country’s most prestigious marathon, but what is more impressive is the impact they’ll make for Corey’s Kids. The energy, passion and love we all felt while cheering on our team was something we will continue to hold near and dear to our hearts.”
