The Corey C. Griffin Foundation’s annual Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway is the largest event of its kind in the Boston area, helping thousands of local students—Corey’s Kids—start the school year with the supplies they need to succeed.

The Foundation is happy to play a part in helping kids across Boston prepare for a positive and successful school year. This effort is part of our broader mission to invest in Boston’s youth by funding partnerships with leading academic and healthcare institutions, enrichment programs, and non-profit organizations that support and empower children in underserved communities.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, strategic partners, and dedicated volunteers, backpacks are filled with essential items and distributed to students who need them most—removing barriers and helping young people feel confident and prepared on day one.

 

Here are three simple ways you can help:

• • Host a Supply Drive
    Gather school supplies with your workplace, family, or friends—we’ll provide all the materials you need to get started.

• • Shop Our Amazon Wish List
    Send much-needed supplies directly to our school partners by shopping online.

• • Make a Monetary Donation
    Visit coreycgriffinfoundation.org/get-involved/donate to support our efforts.

You can also join us for our Happy Hour School Supply Drive on Thursday, July 24, from 7–10PM at The Playwright in South Boston. Bring new school supplies for free admission and help make a difference in the life of a child.
