Created to honor the memory and legacy of Corey C. Griffin who passed away in 2014, the Corey C. Griffin Foundation (Foundation), has granted over $22M in support of its work to be a force of love for Massachusetts kids.The foundation supports high-impact educational and healthcare programs for youth from under-resourced communities in Greater Boston, serving over 10,000 kids annually. The foundation seeks a marketing intern to assist with shaping and elevating the organization’s external voice, brand, and impact. The intern will support the development and execution of comprehensive marketing, communication, media, and engagement strategies. By connecting narratives across the foundation’s programmatic areas and sharing compelling stories of impact, this role will strengthen the foundation’s visibility and brand equity. The intern will report directly to the Director of Marketing. Specific tasks will support efforts in these areas:
Social and Digital Marketing, including new channels.
Development and production of video and other content to capture impact narratives featuring kids and constituents from our 11 partner organizations.
Development of marketing materials for events. E.g., Boston Winter Ball, Boston Marathon.
Development of collateral and other materials for the Infinity Fund (capital campaign).
Assist with updates to communications spanning web, email, blog and other channels.
Eligibility: current college junior or senior.
Located in Braintree, MA, the foundation offers a hybrid work environment. Specific WFH/in-person scheduling can be discussed to meet the intern’s needs.
Required hours and/or credits considerations to be discussed so that the opportunity meets the intern’s as well as the school’s objectives.
Specific start and end dates will also be discussed and agreed upon.
